My playing partners were Helen Stuart and Elly Van Den Berg and we struggled through the damp grasses and explored the course quite well during our match however our best highlight was the 12th hole where we all had 3 pointers.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Helen Stuart played really well considering this was her second 18 holes played since 2013; Elly Van Den Berg had four 3 pointers; Denise Bentlin's highlight was finishing; Sheena Asken started well with 3/4 on the 1st and 5/3 on the 2nd; Kath Payn beat the rain; Lynn Puiatti parred the 5th; Leonie Casey beat Jan Martin; Jan Fitzgerald played her second 18 holes and had no wipes; Lyn Cruickshanks parred the 14th; Robin Incoll was happy to be finished; Rhonda Robertson had 6 by 4 shots in a row; Michelle Kennett survived many wipes; Marianne Lanham's highlight was watching Helen Potter score her 38 points; Fay Bailey practices better than she plays; Helen Potter had birdies at the 6th and the 18th; Kath Small did not repeat her 5/4 on the 18th (Sunday ); Kay Frewin scored a nice 32 points and got over the water at the 13th; my highlight was getting one 3 pointer, my low lights were hitting my drive over the water at the 3rd dam and hit a duck on the other bank - the ball rebounding off the duck and back into the water as well as not finishing with the first ball I started with. Not only that but I had to pay $2 to the fine tin for Peter forgetting to put my clubs on the cart at a recent Sunday Match (that will cost him!)
OTHER HIGHLIGHTS: John and Julie Hazzard have welcomed their 14th Grandchild - Emmett Marc Milford. Congratulations Julie and John!
