Bunya Pine Cones causing a problem - cockies love them and happily throw them all over the fairway.
Shade Garden at the Ladies 2nd Tee tidied up.
We had a good day for F-Troop having twelve volunteers to share the load which was helpful for today's projects.
On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Geoff Bridge, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Garry Trigg, Warren Gray, Zorro Sorridimi, Di Beechey, Carolyn Buttsworth, Anne Burgess and Jan Martin.
The Tree Gang of Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Geoff Bridge, Zorro Sorridimi and Garry Trigg removed some problem branches at the 14th and 4th, trimmed shrubs at the 5th garden, removed trees from the back of the 5th green that have root growth problems that are working there way towards the green.
Rob Benson and Warren Gray did rubbish pickup around the course as well as removing metal stays on the concrete bridge on the 10th.
Peter Martin and Don Nicholls mowed the front street area of the club as well as doing pick up of the nuisance bunya pines on the 16th fairway as well as other rubbish around the course.
Di Beechey and Carolyn Buttsworth cleaned up the car park and underneath the clubhouse, planted in a new ponytail plant at the 15th.
Anne Burgess cleaned up at the Camellia Way, tidied the BBQ area and helped me to clean up at the 14th round-a-bout garden as well as weeding around the Golden Penda at the 2nd Fairway.
I worked at the 14th Bush Toilet area, cleaning up and watered as well as treating for ants and spiders, tidied up the tranquility garden at the 6th; tidied up the Ladies 3rd Tee, trimmed the yellow hedge at the 2nd and the 14th, tidied up the shade garden at the Ladies 2nd Tee, secured the Iceburg Rose at the Putting Green Garden and dead headed the four roses.
We all appreciated Morning Tea of fruit pastries - Thank you Chef Alice!
We were able to get everything done before the showers set in.
