Presentation in the Member's Lounge
We had a lovely day for golf today - a bit on the warm side after being spoiled with the cooler weather of last week.
It was also good to see our Professional Tom Ballard playing in the field with our Members. Well done Tommy!
Our playing partners were Ray and Carolyn Buttsworth who were great company. We had a great day with some good 3 pointer highlights from all of us at some stage of the day. I think our big night out last night at the Club Presentation Night took its toll.
The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford plus 2 Ball Team Mixed Men and Ladies.
We had 56 starters with 3 visitors from Howlong and West Wyalong.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Ray Buttsworth scored a great 3 pointer at the 17th; Peter Martin had three 3 pointers to snatch the Keno ticket from the girls; George Foster beat the girls for the Keno ticket havings some good pars and no wipes for a nice 37 points; Vicki Foster played well for her 36 points; Robin Incoll was an improved player taking out the Ladies Singles with a nice 38 points; John and Colleen from West Wyalong had a lovely day at Gosford; Brent Frewin had a bIrdie at the 7th; David Small's highlight was watching me rescue my shot from the path in Camellia Way chipping it close to the pin on the 10th; Kath Small had 5/4 on the 18th; Clyde Cruickshanks played a steady game for his 40 points turning in 19 and finishing with 21; Lyn Cruickshanks had some good 3 pointers; Pauline Norman came very close on two occasions to getting 4 pointers; Michael Norman went out of bounds twice on the 18th; John Hazzard hit a birdie (of the feathered kind) on the 16th which required a respectful burial; Kevin O'Brien chipped in on the 18th for a par; my highlight was a nice 3 pointer at the 2nd and finishing with the same ball I started with.
CONGRATULATIONS to all of our Members who supported the Club Presentation last night. We had a great night enjoyed by all. This kind of support is what the Club needs on a regular basis so we can have a WIN/WIN situation for our Club and Members.
