We had a lovely day for golf today with 71 starters for a winter competition - the popular Grandma & Great Grandma's trophies.
My playing partners were Kath Small and Judy Hughes and we had an enjoyable day on the village green. We did have some good highlights even if the pars were hard to find.
The Golf Event of the day was a Single Par + Grandma & Grandma's Trophy.
We had 71 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: as reported to me: Bernadette Kirkman had two pluses being on the 9th green for 3 - enjoying 6 pluses in her game; Joyce Bosley parred the 9th; Anne Forrester parred the 3rd and the 6th; Denise Bentlin birdied 15 and parred the 4th; Alice Collett had a nice day having just come back from her European Holiday; Fay Levenspiel had a birdie on the 5th; Margaret Davidson stayed out of trouble; Narelle Medcalf still jetlagged from her overseas trip played well in her new British Golf Shoes having a gobbler at the 5th; Helen Potter had a birdie on the 6th; Sheena Asken had a birdie on the 15th; Chris Shaw had a birdie on the 8th; Glennis English had a good come back on the second 9; Sharon Anderson had 4 pluses in a row - 12/13/14/15; Bev Adams had 4 Pluses in a row 14/15/16/17; Jan Fitzgerald had 4 pluses in a row 8/9/10/11; Eileen Major had a birdie on the 16th; Kath Small played well for her square; Judy Hughes got some good 3 pointers; my highlight was parring the 12th after two careless wipes and then finished with the same ball I started with.
