The winter chill has arrived especially at 7.00am start time for F-Troop.
We had 8 volunteers today which meant we could make some in-roads to some of our projects.
Today we had Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Don Nicholls, Rob Benson, Geoff Bridge, Peter Martin, Anne Burgess and Jan Martin to share the load.
The boys all combined to remove the old air conditioner parts from the Links Room.
The Tree Gang of Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Trevor Harrison & Don Nicholls did some undercutting of the trees on the 8th and cleaned out the creek gutters running between the 9th and 8th and through to the 7th.
Peter Martin & Rob Benson did rubbish pick up duty around the course.
Anne Burgess watered all of the gardens at the clubhouse, cleaned up the outside furniture and watered the pots as well as watering at the 1st and 10th Tee gardens.
I watered at the 18th tee gardens and the Ladies Garden at the 13th, trimmed the hedge plants at the 14th, tidied up at the Bush Toilets and watered the plants there, trimmed the Crepe Myrtles at the back of the 4th green and started on the trimming of the crepe myrtles at the 2nd fairway, watered the wedding garden, trimmed some of the hydrangeas at the back of the putting green.
It was a cold morning and we all appreciated our morning tea of mini cakes - Thanks Chef Brad!
After morning tea Trevor & Don prepared an area for a new cupboard in the Associates Room and inspected some plumbing work to be done in the Associates Room.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
