It was a rather chilly morning followed by a nice day with a bit of a cool breeze but not enough to stop our F-Troopers from their 7.00am start.
We had 8 volunteers today and managed to get some good projects done.
We had Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Rob Benson, Warren Gray, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin and Jan Martin.
The tree gang of Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Trevor Harrison and Don Nicholls gave the Lilly Pilly at the 10th Tee a good cut back to keep it under control and cut down two dead trees at the 17th fairway.
Geoff also delivered some mulch to the 13th garden.
Rob Benson & Warren Gray took care of rubbish pick up around the course.
Peter Martin set up the watering system at the 13th, did some rubbish pick up, helped me to shovel some mulch and did some maintenance at a water hazard at the 2nd.
I worked all day at the Ladies garden at the 13th - adding mulch to the garden, fertilized and watered the garden, removed weeds and added some new gazania plants to the side of the dam.
Morning Tea of fresh from the oven fruit pastries was very welcome on a cold winter's morning. Thank you Chef Brad!
A bit more work around the dam edge and the garden at the Ladies 13th Tee will be up to scratch.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
