It was another icy morning for F- Troop but we had some good help with eight volunteers reporting for duty.
We were restricted on the course by a Social Group of 100 players with an 8 o'clock shotgun start.
We had Peter Martin, Duncan Dyer, Rob Benson, Trevor Harrison, Don Nicholls, Garry Trigg, Warren Gray and Jan Martin to share the load.
The boys collectively worked together taking down a dangerous tree at the 14th bush toilets and mulched the new garden at the 14th. Trevor & Peter collected a trailer load of rubbish from the front garden where I mainly worked today. The gardens at the 14th, 1st and 10th tees were watered a rubbish picked up at the car park, 1st and 10th tees. A new plant was donated for the tranquility garden at the 6th tee and that was planted and watered in.
Morning tea of huge giant muffins were welcomed after a cold morning's work. Thanks Chef John!
The front street gardens are a work in progress and when finished will improve the "First Impressions" of the front car park which should remain much tidier now that the big tree has been removed and the danger of falling branches is gone.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
