We had nine volunteers for F-Troop today and thankfully it did not rain so we could get some good work done.
We had Duncan Dyer, Peter Martin, Martin Gallagher, Garry Trigg, Warren Gray. Di Beechey, Anne Burgess and Jan Martin.
This week the tractor was not available to us as it needed a tyre repair so the tree gang of Duncan, Martin & Garry did some undercutting of the trees and some rubbish pickup around the course.
Peter & Warren planted in two mature Pony Tail Palms at the 15th garden that were donated to the club by Faye Levespiel. Thanks Faye!. Peter & Warren then did rubbish pick up around the course as well as some maintenance jobs.
Di & Anne planted in some new plants at the 14th garden and cleaned up some of the gardens in need of weeding as well as tidying up the back car park & BBQ garden.
I planted in a new hedge plant at the front steps, tidied up the front car park, potted around doing some clean up jobs at the 6th, 3rd, practice nets and the front street gardens.
Morning tea of giant chelsea buns was welcome after a hard mornings work. Thanks Chef John!
The front car park is now back in full use after the repair of the asphalt so that project is now complete.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
