Happy Mother's Day to all of our golfing mothers and all our lovely mothers everywhere. We had a lovely day today in perfect weather and great company. Our playing partners were Duncan & Rosie Dyer and we were very happy to bring in the winner with Duncan scoring a nice 42 points. The boys beat the girls for the keno ticket which was not a highlight for the girls but we did take them to the 17th hole for a result.
The course is back to normal with very little evidence of rain damage. It is great to see the course making such a quick recovery which is such a big change from the days of long closures of the course.
The Golf Event of the Day was a Single Stableford for Men and Ladies.
We had 46 starters (Mother's Day celebrations was an obvious reason for the low numbers)
