The weather held fine for our lady golfers for their Thursday Closing Day.
The Olive Grove got some TLC this morning to encourage the growth of the trees which have shown signs of thriving on the 15th fairway. Some of the trees have fruited and have they have nice new foliage shoots. Today they were weeded, fertilized, trimmed and re-staked which should give them a good start for the summer months ahead.
The golf event of the day was a Ladies Team Event 3 Ball Ambrose and we had 18 starters.
RESULTS:

RUNNERS UP: Lesley Gregory, Dawn Tromp & Maggie Minjoy - 69 1/2 points
3RD: Julie Hazzard, Lynn Puiatti & Elly Van Den Berg - 69 2/3rd points
BALL COMPETITION:
Annette Dunk, Rosie Judd and Michele Kennett - 70 5/6th points
Bev Adams, Kath Small & Claire Hastings - 70 2/3rd points
BALLS WENT TO: 70 2/3rd points
NO HANDICAPPING TODAY.
NEXT TUESDAY 7TH DECEMBER 2010 IS OUR LADIES CHRISTMAS PARTY & PRESENTATION STARTING AT 11.00AM.
