We had another wonderful day for golf - a little on the hot side but we had a nice little breeze to make it bearable. The golf was a little slow along the track today - but it did not rain so all is well.
Our playing partners were Graham & Rae Brown who were delightful company as well as playing some really nice golf shots - Rae having 41 points which was a good highlight for us. My highlight was that I finished with the same ball I started with which will give you some idea of my golf results.
The Event of the day was and Irish 2 Ball Multiplier + Single Stableford - Mixed Men and Ladies.
We had 111 starters with 9 visitors from Mangrove Mountain, Shelley Beach, Terrigal, Wyong & Young.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Kevin O'Brien had birdies at the 17th & 18th; Doon Jansen had 5/4 on the 10th; Luke McGlynn had a long drive down the 6th to the middle of the hill, then a cool 6 iron to the green followed by a 20 foot putt for a BIRDIE; Steven Cross had a birdie on the 10th; Graham Brown had six 3 pointers and one 4 pointer; Rae Brown had four 3 pointers and two 4 pointers & scored 23 points on the back 9; Mark Stimpson had a birdie on the 16th; Denise Bentlin had a nice par on the 16th; Vicki Morris chipped in off the green at the 8th for a 3/3; Col Kelly had 43 points including birdies at the 4th, 5th & 16th; Bruce Binns had a birdie at the 17th and an EAGLE at the 18th; Des Wilson chipped in on the 1st; Yvonne Wilson chipped in on the 16th; Tania Burt had TEN 3 pointers; Annie Brink scored 46 points which included 4/5 at the 4th; Clyde Cruickshanks had a birdie at the 15th with a nice long putt into the hole and also had a birdie at the 6th; Dave Hopkins (Terrigal) had four 4 pointers; Sally Hopkins (Terrigal) had 39 points including one 4 pointer; Kay Frewin had three 4 pointers included in her 41 points; Lesley Gregory had 45 points which included a birdie at the 5th and an almost hole in one at the 14th; Sandra Holmes (Young) had 38 points; my highlight was bringing home Rae Brown & finishing with the same ball I started with.
