After all the dire weather forecasts it turned out to be a perfect day for golf with cloud cover & a gentle breeze to keep us cool and dry. It was hard work if one happened to stray off the fairway
and a disaster if you are playing a par round as we did today.
Linda Rogers had a super day getting her first HOLE IN ONE on the 5th. Congratulations Linda!
My playing partners today were Robyn Johnston & Norma Presdee. We decided to play skins to add some interest to the day. My first contribution was the 14th hole which shows you how well I was going however I am pleased to report that my last 9 holes were much improved on the first 9. We had a fun day & Robyn & Norma were good company and pity about the golf.
The Event of the day was a Ladies Single Par - 3 Grades and we had 73 starters with visitors from Lenore Brazenor WA.
