F-Troop Morning Tea - Kevin O’Brien, David Medcalf, Trevor Harrison, Don Nicholls, Frank Potter, Ray Cheal, Duncan Dyer, Sam Knox, Laurelle Freeman, Peter Martin, Rob Benson, (John Hollebon, Lyn Bates, Jan Martin)
After overnight rain and ongoing showers it was impressive to have 14 of our volunteers turn up this morning to work on projects - even though we were not allowed to take heavy vehicles and carts out on the course. We can always find work to do off the course and on the clubhouse surrounds.
On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Ray Cheal, Rob Benson, David Medcalf, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Frank Potter, Lyn Bates, Laurelle Freeman and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were firewood preparation; loaded Ute with firewood for delivery; trimming and clean up of the garden at the back of the clubhouse; work done on gutter at the 18th fairway; hedge maintenance; tidy up garden at the ladies 2nd Tee; installing of the security camera at the wood compound; delivery of firewood; part trimming of the climbing vine at the Men’s 10th tee; pick up of rubbish at the 10th tee and front of clubhouse; tidy up of the front of clubhouse gardens; tidy up of garden behind the 10th tee; start made on the tidy up of the high garden at the Men’s 10th tee; cutting up fallen branch on the course; tidy up of garden rock wall at the 10th tee.
Continuing showers brought us in for an early morning tea which we managed to fit under the clubhouse out of the precipitation.
We enjoyed morning tea of fresh sandwiches which was very welcome after a hard mornings work.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
