Some good sunshine today and the course is slowly drying out. There is still a lot of wet patches and a lot of branches and loose timber down on the course from recent high winds.
The council workers have moved in and have erected safety fences along the 5th, 6th, 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th holes. We are playing 1ST, 2A and 2B, 3RD, 4TH, reduced 5TH, Reduced 6TH, 7TH, 8TH, 9TH, 10TH; 11A, Reduced 11B,,12TH; 13TH, 15A, 15B and the 18TH reduced hole.
The 14TH, original 15TH, 16TH and 17TH are out of play.
Our playing partners today were Grant and Kerry Williams who were great company. We had some good highlights along the way with Grant and Peter getting some pars. Kerry and I were excited about getting over 15B for our second shots which was good for our first attempt at this hole.
The Golf Event of the day was a Medley Single Stableford.
We had 57 starters with 2 visitors from Shelly Beach.
