We had 16 volunteers today to help with our projects.

There was a huge project on the 1st tee with arborists removing the dangerous gum tree overhanging the path. Sam Knox and Duncan Dyer assisted the arborists with this huge job.

On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Ray Cheal, Rob Benson, Frank Potter, David Medcalf, John Hollebon, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Bev Way, Lyn Bates, Carolyn Buttsworth, Leeanne Binns and Jan Martin.

Other projects worked on today were loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course; blowing of the front car park; tidy up at the 18th tee gardens; hedge maintenance; tidy up and watering the 2nd tee Ladies Garden; tidy up and planting in new plants at the 3rd Ladies Tee and the 5th tee; weeding and mulching of the 8th tee garden; tidy up of the front gardens ; clean up of tree that had fallen over the fence at the 2nd; moving the hoses out to the gardens; trimming low branches and a fallen tree at the 4th tee garden.

Morning Tea of fresh sandwiches was very welcome as the day was hotting up and we had some hard projects to attend to during the morning.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
