A nice day of weather for our F-Troop projects today. We had 13 volunteers.
On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Frank Potter, Rob Benson, Dave Medcalf, Ray Cheal, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Lyn Bates, Carolyn Buttsworth and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were Loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course; hedge maintenance; firewood preparation; maintenance to the lawnmower; maintenance to the yellow garden cart; maintenance to the cart washing hose at the greenkeepers shed; hose out to water the garden at the 2nd; filling divots on the fairways; cleaning of the bush toilets; fresh flowers from our gardens at the 14th bush toilets and the 6th tranquility garden; checking the kangaroo paws plants at the 18th; watering, weeding and tidying up the 2nd Tee Ladies Garden and planting in new plants.
Morning tea of fresh sandwiches was greatly appreciated after a hard mornings work.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
