Looking at what used to be the wood yard between the 13th and 15th Dams

15th Round-about garden - now with fresh mulch

15th Streletzia Garden - work in progress but looking better for dead heading and weeding

We had a great weather day for our F-Troop projects today.

We had 10 volunteers - 4 of our members away on holidays.

On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Ray Cheal, Dave Medcalf, Rob Benson, Peter Martin, Carolyn Buttsworth, Lyn Bates and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today were rubbish and loose timber pick up around the course; Firewood preparation; cleaning of the bush toilets; removing spent flowers and raking the paths at the bush toilets; dead heading and trimming back streletzia plants at the 15th tee; mulching the round-about garden at the 15th tee; weeding of the 18th garden; watering and tidying up the Ladies Garden at the 2nd tee; weeding and watering gardens at the 3rd tees.

We enjoyed morning tea of fresh sandwiches in some beautiful sunshine.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
