Our F- Troop pre-Christmas clean up today was well attended with 12 volunteers to help with our projects. High winds through the week had brought down a lot of loose timber, bark and rubbish onto the course so there was plenty of clean up to do.
On hand we had Trevor Harrison, Sam Knox, Kevin O’Brien, Steve Hogg, Matt Carroll, Rob Benson, Terry Coyle, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today was loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course, hedge maintenance, tidy up underneath the clubhouse, 1st and 10th tees, watering of gardens at the front of the clubhouse, wedding garden and putting green gardens, cleaning of the bush toilets, mulch adde$ to the green space garden, weeding the green space gardens, weeding at the 6th tranquility garden, raking the steps at the ladies 3rd garden, watering pots at the 6th, ladies 3rd tee, bike garden, 9th ladies garden, 9th green garden and wedding garden pots, firewood preparation.
It was a good cool day to be working but we still appreciated our Morning Tea.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Happy Christmas to all of our golfers. More golf reports to come when competition games are in play.
