We were lucky to have missed the rain which helped us to get on with today's projects.
On hand were Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O'Brien, Steve Hogg, Terry Coyle, Don Nicholls, Rob Benson, Geoff Bridge, Garry Trigg, John Hollebon, Ron Gowing, Peter Martin, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess, Jan Martin and we also welcomed a new Member to F-Troop Andy Henebury giving us sixteen volunteers today.
Projects worked on today were loose timber & rubbish pick up around the course, delivery of more firewood, tidy up of the BBQ garden, car parks, underneath the clubhouse, paths right through the 1st and 10th tees and the wedding garden, weeding of gardens and planting in more camellia plants at the 5th, preparation of more firewood, trimming of hedges around the course and tidying gardens, repair to garden tap, more garden soil added to the Xanadu gardens, Xanadu plants fertilized and treated with water crystals, cleaning of the bush toilets, watering Greenspace Garden at the 14th; watering the pots at the 6th, tidy up of the tranquility garden at the 6th, removal of overgrown Agavi plants from the Ladies 3rd Tee and cleaning up the steps, transferring the Agavi plants to a new home around the tree at the 3rd tee; watered the bike garden, watered the garden at the Ladies 9th Tee, watered the potted Mandavilla at the 9th green. Sam Knox also helped out with some raking work while he was supervising the removal of the dangerous tree at the Wedding Garden.
We did appreciate our morning tea this morning after a hard mornings work. Thank you Barto!
