F-Troop - Monday 10th July 2017

We had a full schedule of projects today and a good day to work so it was good to have a good lot of volunteers to help out.

On hand were Duncan Dyer, Steve Hogg, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O'Brien, Terry Coyle, Rob Benson, John Hollebon, Geoff Bridge, Garry Trigg, Ron Gowing, Peter Martin, Di Beechey & Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today were: Maintenance to our work utility; trimming stumps at the 1st, cutting wood and work done in the woodheap; delivered two loads of firewood; Cleaned out the gutters of the cart shed; Rubbish and loose timber pick up around the course; lattice work prepared for the back of the clubhouse; Trimmed hedges at the front of the clubhouse and 14th tee; trimmed Crepe Myrtles around the course; clean up of the 1st and 10th tees and 18th green area; tidy up around the clubhouse; door maintenance at the Spike Bar Room; Cleaning the 14th bush toilets and watering the gardens there; watering the pots at the 6th tranquility garden;  planting in of the remaining agapanthus in the gardens in the greenspace at the 14th and the 17th dog leg garden.

Morning tea was very welcome after a hard mornings work as it was nice to have a sunny spot to enjoy it on the front lawn area.  Our thanks to Barto for his continued support of F-Troop - donating our morning tea every Monday.
