We had a great day for golf today with the course playing well. It must have been as I scrambled in a winnerππ
Our playing partners today were Doug and a Robin Incoll. Robin has suffered some bruising from an unfortunate fall and was unable to play however she was able to come along and give some team support to us. Doug was on fire for the first three holes scoring three 3 pointers in a row. The best of our other highlights was three 4 pointers including a birdie on the 8th by me π.
The golf event of the day was a Single Stableford + 2 Ball Team Mixed Men and Ladies.
We had 67 starters with one visitor from SGA.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Peter Martin had pars at the 1st, 10th, 11th and the 18th; Doug Incoll had 3 pointers on the first three holes; Walter Loschi said the girls dumped the boys at golf to go to the Cook Islands, their highlight was a birdie at the 7th; Michael Crehan had birdies at the 8th and the 10th; Kevin O'Brien chipped in for a birdie at the 3rd; Lorraine Bignall had a gobbler chip at the 9th; Duncan Dyer and Nigel Asken beat the girls for the Keno Ticket; Sheena Asken had a birdie on the 11th; Anne Forrester had 22 points on the back 9 including six 3 pointers; Vicki Foster had 5/4 at the 10th and the girls beat the boys find the Keno Ticket; Lynn Puiatti had a birdie 4/4 at the 2nd; Col Matterson birdied 15th and the 18th; Ron Puiatti had a birdie on the 8th; Stu Williams scored 42 points including 4 pointers at the 10th and 18th; Sheila Williams had a par on the 6th helped by a 70 metre shot in; Gail Williams had a birdie on the 11th; Annette Cross had a birdie on the 5th; Cheryl Davison had a par on the 16th;,Owen James had 4/4 on the 9th; Fran James was happy with her 36 points after two wipes; Joyce Bosley had 5/4 on the 2nd; Tania Walklate had a 4 pointer on the 17th; Dick Bosley had 4/4 on the 15th; my highlight was scrambling in as a winner scoring three 4 pointers at the 1st, 12th and 8th (including a birdie).

Sadly it was Mark Stimpson's last Presentation tonight as Captain of our club. Mark has been an outstanding Club Captain and our thanks and appreciation go to him for such a great contribution to the club. We are happy that Mark will still be around to give support to our new incoming Captain who will be announced at the AGM on Tuesday night.
