We had a beautiful day to enjoy our golf today - sunshine all the way! Our playing partners were Nigel and Sheena Asken who were great company. We enjoyed our time on the village green and never mind the golf.
The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford + 2 Ball Team Mixed Men and Ladies

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Sheena and I squared with the boys for the Keno ticket; Nigel Asken was putting for birdies at the 14th and 8th; Ray Buttsworth had 5/4 on the 2nd; Carolyn Buttsworth and Lyn Bates were beaten by the boys for the keno ticket; Duncan Dyer had 40 points which included eight 3 pointers; Rosalie Dyer had a birdie; Wally Robertson had a birdie at the 11th; Col Matterson had his first 3 pointer on the last hole; Lauren Matterson had a 4 pointer on the 3rd hole; Fran James had 5/4 on the 10th hole; Sally Hopkins had 4/4 on the 18th; Sheila Williams was an improved player; Russell Willings had a birdie on the 9th; Neville Walker had 3/5 on the 3rd; Lorraine Bignall sank a downhill 12 metre putt on the 9th, a birdie on the 12th and also scored at 4/3; Vicki Foster had pars at the 1st, 5th, 14th, 15th and 16th; my highlight was finishing with the same ball I started with and enjoying good company.
