We wish Lauren all the best in her cricket career and look forward to her return to golf whenever she can find the time.
Lauren returns from her trip to the UK Wednesday.
Here is a short summery of her cricketing exploits.
Lancashire
T20 Div 1 - mid table finish after bottom placed last year
T50 Div 2 - Champions and promoted
Didsbury (Club team)
T20 Champions
T50 mid table finish
As a consequence of Lancashire commitments she missed a number of club games.
Took plenty of wickets (23 at 9) and mate lots of runs, many at important times. (4 50's. one 94 at an average of 37)
She also managed to pack in visits to Italy, France and Spain and visited London on many occasions. These were purely social visits made with a NSW team mate who was playing for Nottinghamshire.
She starts back with the NSW Breakers this coming Thursday and has been contracted to the Sydney Sixers for the second consecutive season.
If she doesn't make the Aussie team for the World Cup next year I suspect she will be returning for the season. She's enjoying perpetual summers.
