Our morning started off with threatening thunder and showers but soon cleared to a fine and sunny day.
Luckily our die hards turned up to get some good projects done.
We had Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Rob Benson, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin,
Jan Martin and Di Beechey to share the load.
The Tree Gang were busy all morning undercutting along the 2nd fairway and removing a large branch near the safety fence at the 1st Fairway and including cleaning up the garden and area around the safety net.
Peter Martin & Don Nicholls also collected a storage shelf system donated by Helen Potter which we will use for storage in the Spike Bar (Thank you Helen), repaired a flicking light in the clubhouse and did pick up of rubbish around the course.
Di Beechey gave all of the outdoor furniture a second coat of paint.
I cleaned up at the Bush Toilets, trimmed the small hedge at the 14th roundabout, cleaned up at the Ladies 3rd Tee, planted in a new Azalea plant at the Putting Green, cleaned up the water feature at the 1st Tee, trimmed the yellow hedge at the 10th Tee.
Morning Tea of a variety of muffins was greatly appreciated - Thank you Chef Alice!
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
