F-Troop - Monday 9th June 2014

Being a Public Holiday there was no "official" F-Troop day however the diehard girls turned up to finally bite the bullet on the 18th Tee Garden which has been screaming for a clean up for some time.

We had Di Beechey, Anne Burgess, Carolyn Buttsworth & Jan Martin to face up to our next big project.

Di & Anne cleaned up the car parks and underneath the clubhouse while I cleaned up at the bush toilets.
Then we all worked to clear the garden at the 18th which was a massive job.

Di, Anne & Carolyn cleared and weeded the garden and replanted some of the plants.  I was the rubbish remover taking all of the overgrown plants, weeds, sticks and otherwise unwanted plants to the tip area.

Watch this space as this garden is still a work in progress.  The orchids that have survived theft have been left there to flower and then will be moved to a place less likely to be threatened by theft.

After morning tea I transplanted the excess bromeliads to our green space at the 14th where they are dressing up some of the trees.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
