It was another busy day for F-Troopers today with many projects on hand to take care of.
We had Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Martin Gallagher, Rob Benson, Richard Casey, Garry Trigg, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Jan Martin, Di Beechey & Anne Burgess to share the load.
The Tree Gang of Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Garry Trigg, Trevor Harrison & Don Nicholls and Martin Gallagher took care of some more undercutting the 9th and the 10th after they had picked up rubbish at the car park and behind the practice nets..
Peter Martin, Rob Benson & Richard Casey took care of mulching of the wedding garden, Rob & Richard then took care of the re seating the concrete edging on the 17th tee and trimming of the camellias at the 10th & 11th.
Anne Burgess and Di Beechey did some good clean up work in the car park and BBQ area and worked in Camellia way trimming the camellias. Di helped with the mulching and raking at the wedding garden area.
Peter Martin took care of the supervision of the mulching of the wedding garden repaired the watering system at the 1st and 10th; helped with the fence repair & moved mulch to the 18th for the camellia gardens, re-staked the roses at the wedding garden.
I spent the day moving mulch onto the wedding garden, trimmed more shrubs in the front garden, watered the wedding gardens, cleaned up the practice nets, dead headed and re-staked the roses at the putting green, cleaned up at the 1st and 10th tees.
Morning tea of croissants and jam was very much appreciated after a hard mornings work. Thanks Chef John!
We received in excess of $40 in donations from members via the donation box in the Pro Shop and including $20 from George Foster. Our appreciation to the Members that see fit to donate their cash to F-Troop. All monies received go towards the beautification of our course including the purchase of work tools for our troopers. THANK YOU MEMBERS!
