We had 10 of our regular workers on hand this chilly morning to get a large project done at the back of the clubhouse.
We had Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Sam Knox, Trevor Harrison, Peter Martin, Warren Gray, Richard Casey, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess, Jan Martin and some good support from Leonie Casey at the end of the morning with clean up duties.
The boys all combined to bring down the trees at the back of the clubhouse that were causing problems and also secured the retainer wall that was in danger of falling down. Sam & Duncan were on chain saw duty, Geoff on tractor duty, Richard, Peter & Warren on pick up duty and Trevor Harrison on retainer wall duty.
Di & Anne cleaned up the car park & set up the lavender garden at the 16th for new garden edges so that the garden can be built up high to drain better - giving the lavenders a better chance of survival.
I was on clean up duty at the back of the clubhouse and was ably assisted by Leonie later in the morning.
Those trees that could not be used at the garden at the 16th were recycled to use as a buffer in the car park drain or to renew the garden edges at the 6th native garden.
Morning tea of huge muffins was very welcomed by our hard working F-Troopers who all did a good day's work.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
