Golf - Friday 4th November 2011

What a  top day we had for golf, birthdays and art exhibitions today.

All of the above were enjoyed to the full with beautiful weather to enhance the day.

Doon Jansen's Art Exhibition was well attended with a lot of interest shown in the presentation which extends into tomorrow for anyone who could not attend tonight. Doon has very generously donated some of her entry fees towards F-Troop projects on the Golf Course which has been very much appreciated.

We also had the pleasure of hearing a rendition of music played on instruments made by Bob Knox by very talented musicians which had us all enthralled with their skill & talent.

It was a pleasure to view Doon's artwork which she masters so well and I urge you all to be sure to do some viewing tomorrow which will be your last opportunity as there was a lot of interest and indeed some good items sold tonight.

Peter Martin celebrated his 69th birthday with the family at the Golf Club & has shared celebrations with Di Thomlinson who is also celebrating her 60th birthday tomorrow.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY DI!

The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford for Men and Ladies.

We had 94 starters with 11 visitors from Castle Hill, Catalina, Emmaville, Moss Vale, Newcastle, Shelly Beach, Terrigal, Toronto, Toukley and Wyong.
