It was great to see a Club full of people tonight supporting the Friday Night Raffles and Badge Draw. This was further supplemented by a Gosford Hospital Social Group night in the Magnolia Room.
The Badge Draw was drawn to Paul Smith (Smiley) Member No 948 who unfortunately was not present to collect the $650 draw. It will now jackpot to $700 next week and remember that you have to be present in the clubhouse at the time of the draw to win. If you are never there you will never win.
The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford for Men and Ladies. There were preferred Lies through the green.
We had 55 starters with 5 visitors from Kurri, Moss Vale, Muirfield, Oberon, The Springs, Trundle & Wyong.
We also had Social Players on the course today swelling the playing numbers to 250 starters for the day which was outstanding.

A REMINDER TO MEMBERS TO PREPARE FOR THE OP SHOP BALL TO BE HELD ON SATURDAY 3RD SEPTEMBER 2011. Cost of tickets is $35 per person and the rules of the night are: All outfits must cost less than $20. Prizes for BEST DRESSED. If you remember last year's Op Shop Ball we had some great outfits and everyone had a wonderful night. So....it is time to go shopping at the Op shops for that perfect outfit to stun our judges.
