White Kookaburra
Attached is a photo that a friend sent to me of pure white Kookaburra. I have never seen a white Kookaburra before so I thought I would share it with you in case you had not seen one either.
We had some more rain overnight and further heavy showers throughout the day. The Golf however did go on with the course deemed open for play - bunkers out of play. Some of the golfers I spoke with said that the course was wet but not too bad - so that is a great indicator that the course is coping better than it ever has before with continuing rain.
We had a garden wedding scheduled for 2.30 pm. It did not look good during the heavy morning showers, but then the weather cleared for a few hours and a decision was made to go ahead with the garden wedding. We had another small shower just after 2 o'clock but then the sunshine came out for the rest of the afternoon.
Hopefully our golfers did not get too wet today.
