It is amazing what can be achieved when we can get some good help. F-Troopers Duncan Dyer, Fred Middleton & Peter Martin hiked up the mountain to Peats Ridge with their trailers to pick up a load of orchid compost from Royale Orchids at 1360 Brieses Road at Peats Ridge this morning. The orchids there were absolutely beautiful & I believe that they are exported around the world so I was happy that I was able to view them.
The proprietors of Royale Orchids were good enough to let us have the orchid compost at the right price which was very much appreciated. They are expert orchid growers so the compost should be top class. The F-Troopers were able to unload the compost to the garden at the club so we are now ready for the next phase of the garden preparation. Watch that space for some more developments.

The Golf Event of the day was a Ladies Single Stableford + 2 Ball Irish Multiplier.
We had 44 starters with 5 visitors from Magenta Shores, Shelley Beach and Terrigal.
