Today was a special Invitation Day which is the Ladies Annual Chip in for Beast Cancer Day and is always a popular event - sponsored by ASHWELL AND CARROLL.

My Team was made up of Yvonne Wilson with Judy Anderson and Toni Kenney, two girls from Everglades who filled in for us at the last minute when we lost two of our original members. We had a fun day with many highlights including three chip in off the green shots and an almost birdie and our biggest highlight was winning the Encouragement Award on the day.

The Event of the day was a Ladies Team Stableford - Best two scores to count and we had 107 starters with visiting clubs of Tuggerah Lakes, Magenta, Wyong, Everglades, Terrigal, Mangrove Mountain, Asquith, Pennant Hills and Muswellbrook.

Highlights of the day as reported to me: Toni Kenney (Everglades) had two chips in shots off the green at the 4th and the 6th; Judy Anderson (Everglades) had a chip in off the green at the 9th; Yvonne Wilson had great pars at the 12th and 17th; my highlight was an almost birdie at the 14th for 3/3.

Other highlights - Rosalie Dyer is a grandmother again - a new grand daughter this week -"Indianna";

Doon Jansen is a Great Grandmother twice in the last few weeks - a great grand daughter last Monday week and at 4 o'clock this morning a Great Grandson. Congratulations Rosalie and Doon!
