The course looked good when we visited today - the fairways and greens looked good but we appreciate that carts can cause a lot of damage to a perfect course.
We are at Ballina for a week and are finding that nearby courses also have the same problems. We are hoping to get a game in before we got to the week of Vets golf at Murwillumbah.
Meanwhile at Gosford….
The weather has improved. Club carts only were allowed on today but tomorrow all carts including Members carts will be allowed on for the Ladies Competition.
The Golf Event of the day was a Medley Single Stableford.
Golf Club Carts only were allowed on the course.
We had 21 starters with 3 visitors from NSW and Everglades.
RESULTS:
WINNER: Adrian Deans - 35 points on a countback
NO NEAREST THE PINS.
BALLS WENT TO : 32 points on a countback
