F- Troop - Monday 6th July 2026

A wet start to our day today. Under cover in the car shed were Rob Benson, Duncan Dyer, Sam Knox, Trevor Harrison and Don Nicholls at 7.00 am.

No Carts or heavy vehicles were allowed out on the course today so our planned F-Troop work had to be abandoned except for garden work that could be done in front of the Clubhouse.

On hand we had 6 volunteers - Rob Benson, Duncan Dyer, Sam Knox, Trevor Harrison, Don Nicholls and Jan Martin. Others had sensibly had better offers.

I was the only one who could work today as my program was to prune the roses and weed the gardens at the front of the clubhouse. Other projects are going to be put on hold until the course dries out sufficiently for us to get our carts and heavy vehicles out on the course. Sam Knox was able to co-ordinate with arborists regarding tree maintenance. Our wood sales have been completed for the year with more work to be done to prepare more wood supplies for next year.

Morning tea was a non-event with the exception of Trevor Harrison joining me for a coffee during showers.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
