Garden at the back of the 10th Tee cleaned out and trimmed, new plants added
We had twelve volunteers this morning which was great considering it is a holiday week.
On hand we had Sam Knox, Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, David Medcalf, Bev Way, Lyn Bates, Laurelle Freeman, Leeanne Binns, Carolyn Buttsworth and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course; Trimming of trees and clean out of the drain at the back of the clubhouse; firewood preparation; weeding, mulching and watering of gardens at the 18th, 13th, 5th, 3rd, 2nd, front of clubhouse gardens; mowing around the garden areas around the course and back of BBQ area; blowing the carpark at the back of the clubhouse; tidy up of gardens at the front street; cutting out dead shrub at the garden at the back of the 10th tee including trimming back of shrubs and tree ferns, planting in new plants and refilling the open hole in the garden; cleaning the bush toilets; weeding the front of clubhouse gardens.
The course was busy with social and competition golfers so we did well to work around them.
Morning tea of fresh sandwiches was welcomed as we all put in a hard mornings work.
