The Woodpeckers Inn was busy today adding more firewood and loading Ute for wood delivery
The course was busy with Vets and competition players today but we managed to work around them.
On hand today we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Trevor Harrison, Rob Benson, David Medcalf, John Hollebon, Peter Martin, Laurelle Freeman and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were cutting up the remains of the big tree taken down at the 1st Tee; trimming the tree fern at the back of the 10th tee; firewood preparation and loading of firewood for delivery; hedge maintenance; pick up of loose timber and rubbish from around the course; painting F-Troop equipment; cleaning of the bush toilets and tidy up of the paths and gardens there; weeding and watering the plants at the 6th tranquility garden; tidy up of the gardens at the 7th Tee; tidy up of the front street gardens.
We had a staggered morning tea today with some of us having to leave early. We enjoyed morning tea of fresh sandwiches.
