6th Tranquility Garden - raked, weeded and mulched
The course was very wet today after the overnight rain. Carts were allowed on for Members only.
We had 12 volunteers this morning to help with our projects.
On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Ray Cheal, Rob Benson, David Medcalf, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Frank Potter, Lyn Bates and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course ( 3 very full Ute loads); wood preparation; wood delivery; mulch out to the gardens at the 6th, 14th bush toilet gardens and the 18th grass garden; maintenance and garden design to the 18th grass garden including raking up the tee and path areas; cleaning of the bush toilets including loose timber pick up; loose timber pick up at the 7th tee garden; weeding, raking and mulching of the 6th tranquility garden.
We had a very hard mornings work cleaning up after the high winds and rain (10 mls overnight)
We enjoyed our morning tea of fresh sandwiches in the very welcome sunshine.
