F-Trooper Jan Martin at the Tibouchina Garden
We had 11 volunteers this morning to help with our projects which was good for school holiday time. The course was busy with visiting Ladies District Competition + Medley Stableford + Social players.
On Hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Trevor Harrison, Rob Benson, David Medcalf, John Hollebon, Peter Martin, Don Nicholls, Lyn Bates and Jan Martin plus some good help from Bev Way who was there to help out with the Ladies District Day.
Projects worked on today were tree maintenance; loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course; firewood loading and delivery; new entry area created at the 18th grass garden; hedge maintenance; tidy up and watering garden at the 2nd Ladies tee; weeding and tidying the 18th grass garden; cleaning and tidying up at the 14th bush toilets; trimming of the Tibouchina shrubs at the 1st and 10th tees; weeding and raking up loose timber at the 1st and 10th tee gardens.
We thank the District Ladies for their contribution to our morning tea with cakes and slices in addition to our normal fresh sandwiches which are always appreciated.
