Matt Graham on the 7th today
The Womens NSW Golf Open will be played at Magenta Shores Golf Club in late March and the course is therefore in superb condition at the present time. Our Seniors pennant team was lucky enough to play Shelly Beach at this course today. It’s a tough course but magnificent.
A grade faired well but went down 5/1 to a strong Shelly Beach outfit. Dan Rogers had his first win in pennants and I'm sure there will a lot more wins coning his way in the future. Thanks to Dean Wallace who stepped up to play number two in A grade. A tough ask but Dean did really well against a very strong opponent.
B grade had a great win 2 ½ to 1 ½. The game was in the balance until the last hole. The shot of the day was a 280 metre drive to the 7th hole by Matt Graham. The ball found the green but the eagle putt went astray before a gimme birdy. Well done boys.
C Grade were looking good early but went down 4/0. Thanks to Neil Mulvaney and Simon Kelly who had their first senior pennant matches.
Next week its up to the Mountain for another challenge.
