The streletzia/Pony Tail Palm gardens at the 15th tee have now been maintained and restored to their former beauty.
The course was very busy with vets players today but we managed to work our way around the course to work on our projects.
Ten volunteers was very helpful as we had a lot of work to do.
On hand we had Sam Knox, Trevor Harrison, Rob Benson, Mick Grant, John Hollebon, Don Nicholls, Carolyn Buttsworth, Lyn Bates, Leeanne Binns and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were rubbish and loose timber pick up around the course, tree maintenance, hedge maintenance, weed maintenance, starting the clean up of the 13th tee area, watering of gardens, tidy up of garden at the 2nd green, final tidy up of the streletzia garden at the 15th, tidy up of paths at the 14th bush toilets.
Morning tea of fresh sandwiches after a hard mornings work was much appreciated.
Our thanks to Ron Gowing for his donation of plants for our gardens.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
