Working on a very wet course today we did manage to get some good work done.
On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Nigel Asken, Peter Martin, Ron Gowing, John Hollebon, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were tree maintenance, rubbish and loose timber and rubbish pick up, hedge maintenance, purchase of new garden soil, cleaning paths underneath the clubhouse, 1st and 10th tees, wedding garden and practice nets, weeding of gardens at the 10th tee, replacing potted plants at the wedding garden (Kevin (muscles) O’Brien was called on to empty the pots in preparation for new plants), removal of weeds from the 3rd dam, dead heading of Agapanthus, weeding garden at the 2nd tee, cleaning of the bush toilets, spider and ant treatment at the bush toilets, clean up of the greenspace gardens.
Morning tea was appreciated after a hard morning’s work.
