Autumn has arrived at last (after a long summer) the cooler breeze was a bit of a shock today and we had to actually pull out jumpers at stages through the day when the sun disappeared and the wind chill factor took hold.
Our playing partners today were Peter and Sandy Laybutt who were great company - my support partner was Paul Scholberg (who was also great company) who filled in for Peter who was suffering from a muscle injury - thank you Paul. The girls did beat the boys convincingly and in fact out drove them on two occasions. Thanks to Peter for driving Miss Daisy today.
The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford for Men and Ladies + 2 Ball Team
We had 62 starters with 3 visitors from New Brighton, SGA and Terrigal.
