We had a good day with our projects today with a good number of volunteers to help out.
On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Steve Hogg, Rob Benson, Steve Robinson, Peter Martin, Don Nicholls, John Hollebon, Ron Gowing, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were tree maintenance, loose timber and rubbish pick up, hedge maintenance, firewood delivery, path maintenance at the 2nd tee, weeding and tidy up of the lavender garden at the 16th, tidy up around the clubhouse, BBQ garden, paths at the 1st and 10th tees, wedding garden and practice nets.cleaning of the bush toilets, planting in a new agave plant donated by Martin Gallagher, tidy up of the 6th tranquility garden, watering the pots at the 6th tee, tidy up of step area of the Ladies 3rd tee.
Morning Tea was much appreciated after a hard mornings work. Di presented Duncan with his “new tractor” to appease his loss of last week.
