New Ladies Garden
New ladies garden
F-Troop continued today and we had a good number of volunteers to work on our projects that we could successfully do and keep of social distancing at the same time.
On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Steve Hogg, Rob Benson, Steve Robinson, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were Loose Timber and Rubbish pick up, hedge maintenance, mulching of gardens, moving the garden seat and garden stand from the 3rd tee to the newly created Ladies Garden at the 2nd Tee, tidy up of gardens at the 13th tee and 12th, load up and delivery of firewood, weeding of the fairway at the 18th, maintenance of the F-Troop Ute, cleaning of the bush toilets, planting in of four yukkas donated by Steve Turner, weeding of the greenspace garden.
Thanks Steve for your donation.
We did appreciate our morning tea, practicing social distancing and healthy handling of food.
The Clubhouse upstairs is now closed but the Pro Shop is continuing as normal. Watch out for emails from the Board on updates on the Caronavirus restrictions which will change frequently as the virus spreads.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
