We had a nice weather day for golf today with just the slightest of light showers which did not interfere with our golf on the Village Green.
Our playing partners today were Kevin O’Brien and Lorraine Bignall and we did have some good highlights from Kevin and Lorraine which saved our day.
The Golf Event of the day was a Singles Stableford + 2 Ball Team
We had 67 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Carolyn Buttsworth had 6 x 3 pointers, 2/4 on the 5th and won nearest the pin; Kay Baillie had 5x 3 pointers and played steady.....and cleverly dropped down to B Grade just before the Championships; Garry Baillie’s Tee shot off the 7th landed on the 4th tee but a clear shot got him back onto the correct fairway; Eddie Rogers hit a very good shot behind the hedge on the 4th; Lorraine Bignall dropped in a 7 metre putt on the 6th and had 12 straight drives; Kevin O’Brien chipped over the bunker on the 9th and missed the cup by two inches; I had a hit and miss game and did not even finish with the same ball I started with. We were last to finish today so I did not have time to get around all the tables to gather highlights. Sorry to anyone I missed that may have had some bragging rights.
