We had great weather to work on our projects this morning working around a very busy course full of Vets players.
On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Sam Knox, Kevin O’Brien, Steve Hogg, Terry Coyle, Rob Benson, John Hollebon, Ron Gowing, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were firewood preparation, assisting the staff with stump removal, removal of weed from the dam, loose timber and rubbish removal from around the course, repair of broken seat at the 1st Tee, clean up along the back of the clubhouse, mulching and tidying up of the Wedding Garden, tidy up of paths at the clubhouse, 1st and 10th tee, practice nets and wedding garden, maintenance of hedges, trimming back camphour Laurel shoots and poisoning at the 17th tee, mulching at the green space gardens, cleaning of the bush toilets, cleaning out gardens and drain at the 14th green space gardens.
Morning tea was welcomed after a hard mornings work.
