We had a magic day for Sunday Golf today on the Village Green. Our playing partners were Col and Lauren Matterson who were great company and provided us with the most of our highlights.
The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford for Men and Ladies + 2 Ball Team
We had 73 starters 3 visitors from Cammeray and Everglades.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Kim Cardiff had 3 x 4 pointers including a chip in for par on the 13th, Birdie on the 12th and had 22 points on the back 9; Rob Parry had 24 points on the front 9; Walter Loschi was putting for an Eagle on the 18th and settled for a birdie; Geraldine Turner enjoyed the good weather; Steve Turner had a 3 pointer on the 3rd; Spencer Walklate parred all of the par 3’s; Tania Walklate had a 4 pointer on the 4th; Melanie Forster had 5 good shots; Russell Willings on the 15th was way left towards the car park and hit a shit in over the trees to the 15th green and just missed a birdie; Debbie Cox parred the 12th hole; Dennis Cox had a gobbler in on the 4th hole; Kevin O’Brien birdied the 12th and had a nice 35 points; Lorraine Bignall played steady golf; Rosalie Dyer played steady golf for her 33 points; Carolyn Buttsworth had a gobbler birdie on the 5th; Steve Robinson had a 3 pointer on the 18th; Liz Robinson’s highlights was playing with Steve; Ray Buttsworth had 5/4 on the 18th; Neville Walker had 5 x 3 pointers; Jan Walker had 4/4 on the 18th; Anne Forrester had a couple of good 3 pointers; George Foster played 18 holes; Nigel Asken was confused; Vicki Foster and Lyn Cruickshanks beat the boys (leading all the way) for the Keno Ticket; Vicki Foster parred the 15th and birdied the 8th, playing steady golf; John Hazzard had a good stroll in the sun; Owen James had 43 points including 3 x 4 pointers; Fran James had a good 4 pointer; Peter Martin had a birdie on the 10th; Col Matterson had 13 pars; Lauren Matterson played steady golf including 6/3 on the 10th and got over the 3rd dam in one; my highlights were getting two 4 pointers and finishing with the same ball I starters with and also getting out of two bunkers in one shot ( not necessarily in the right direction).
