F-Troop Morning Tea - Ron Gowing, Andy Henebury, Kevin O'Brien, Trevor Harrison,
Sam Knox, Peter Martin, Don Nicholls, John Hollebon, (Rob Benson, Duncan Dyer, Steve Hogg,
Di Beechey, Jan Martin)
New equipment being used to pump water out of the bunkers very quickly and efficiently
which is great news for the upcoming Club Championships.
It was obviously going to be a wet weather morning but that did not stop our F-Troopers donating their much appreciated time to work on our current projects.
On hand we had Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Don Nicholls, Steve Hogg, Sam Knox, Andy Henebury, Rob Benson, Kevin O'Brien, Peter Martin, Ron Gowing, John Hollebon, Di Beechey and Jan Martin, which makes up our average of 13 volunteers even on a bad weather day.
Projects worked on was tree maintenance, Gurney of the back fire escape stairs, removal of the Honour Boards from the stairwell and placement of them in the upstairs clubhouse, weeding and mulching of gardens, maintenance of hedges, cleaning of the 14th Bush Toilets and maintenance of the 14th greenspace gardens, tidy up around the clubhouse and 1st and 10th tees.
After working through on and off showers all morning we appreciated our morning tea.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
