My Safe Haven today during heavy showers while I was weeding on the 6th Tee

Sharing the storm shelter with some of the golfers this morning during a heavy shower

Our native plants are flowering beautifully around the course

the birds are loving it - in this case a beautiful mountain parrot

in the grevillia on the 4th.

We had another good response from our volunteers on a showery day.  There were a lot of projects to be  worked on so it was good to be able to get some things done.

On hand we had Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O'Brien, Don Nicholls, Terry Coyle, Steve Hogg, Sam Knox, Andy Henebury, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Di Beechey & Jan Martin.

Projects worked on was a clean up at the back of the clubhouse, tidy up of the front gardens, tidy of gardens along the fence line and the Wedding Garden area, attaching the guttering to the new cart shed, cleaning of the bush toilets, cleaning the drains at the greenspace garden, weeding the garden at the back of the 5th green, weeding the garden at the back of the 6th tee, tidy up  of the 6th tranquility garden, fertilizer to the gardens at the 6th and 4th tees.

Another heavy shower brought us in for an early morning tea but we did manage to achieve some good maintenance work today.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
