24 Gosford Members represented Gosford Golf Club at the Myall Classic at Hawks Nest this week and did us proud as you can see by all the "winners" photos.
We all had a great week in wonderful weather (so far). Tomorrow's Ambrose could be a worry with gale force winds predicted - but no rain. The course was in beautiful condition and the competition was well run by the Committee.
Lyn Bates was beaten on a countback for runner up on the overall 52 hole competition and was our best overall performer. Our biggest scorer was Arthur Collien with a fine score of 42. Peter Martin had his first ever Hole-in-One on the Sunday mixed event before the Classic started but was the biggest highlight of the week.
